A Router Table's versatility used to be limited by your creativity and the selection of bits in
your shop, until now. The Universal Router Table can expand your shop's capabilities. The
Universal Router Table cannot only be used as a conventional Router Table, but also as a pin
router and a joint maker. Now you can perform tasks such as template/pattern routing; make
finger joints, dove tails, mortise and tenons and raise panel cuts. The Universal Router Table is
a true bargain, letting you do far more than you can with a conventional Router Table.
The Three in One Router System
1. Router Table Features
- Heavy ribbed cast aluminum construction, 319 alloy.
- Top and two sides ground flat and perpendicular.
- Up to 3 ¹ H.P. routers attach to an 8" diameter x 3/8" poly carbonate inset, which screws to the table. Fits routers with up to 7" diameter sub-base.
- 3/8" x 3/4" miter slot; miter slide optional.
- One edge slotted to mount to bench end or mount two router tables together for "dedicated" set ups or to mount 8" table extension.
- Safety pivot pin standard.
2. Joint Maker (Optional)
- Mount up to 1-1/2 H.P. router in horizontal mode.
- Raise or lower router, up to 5 1/4" above or 3/4" below table. Lead screw driven, one full turn moves bit 1/16".
- Make finger joints, dovetail, mortise and tenon, and much more, even joiner type operations.
- A special raised panel router bit, or face molding cutters, used horizontally, permits user to "dial" in exact depth to cut, and feed work piece flat over bit safely and precisely.
- Joint Maker can be installed and removed quickly.
3. Pin Routing (Optional)
- Overarm attaches in seconds, holds assorted diameter pins.
- Pins align exactly with router bit centerline.
- Arm is raised or lowered (using lead screw) to set pin.
- Safety shield attaches to overarm when using bit with bearing in table.
