These disposable in-line desiccant air dryers collect the smallest moisture mists and filter out
large particulates to provide at least some protection from moisture and particulates. Beads
change color from blue to pink to indicate absorbing capacity blue = dry, pink = wet.
Polyurethane pig tail acts as a shock absorber and extends the life of the desiccant
dryer. Tugging on the hose where there is a rigid attachment of the inline dryer
directly to the compressor can cause fracture of the polycarbonate inlet. By providing a
flexible pig tail the possibility of fracture due to tugging is virtually eliminated.
